Ellyn Maybe

A Frightened Melody (Haiku)

There was too much fear

Hate filled the air with sirens

The music dried up

A Heart Gone Cold (Haiku)

A shiver remained

in the memory of heat

It was a slow burn

Heated Cruelty (Haiku)

Ferociousness lasts

The pain lingers forever

Toxic hot embers
